Jenni Heinser Earns NCAA Tournament Berth

San Francisco's No. 80 Jennifer-Lee Heinser qualified for the NCAA Women's Tennis Tournament after going 21-3 as a freshman. The reigning West Coast Conference Player and Freshman of the Year will face No. 1 seed Aurelija Miseviciute (26-1), a sophomore from Arkansas, at 2:30 on Wednesday, May 21 at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on the campus of the University of Tulsa. [+]

Jenni Heinser Named Women's Tennis Player of the Month

Jenni Heinser was named the 2008 WCC Freshman and Player of the Year after leading the Dons to a fourth place finish at the WCC Tennis Championships. Heinser went 5-1 during the month of April, including a 6-3, 6-3 win over No. 87 Pavla Mesterova of LMU in the WCC Championships. Heinser closed the month as the highest ranked WCC player on the circuit, checking in at No. 73 in the ITA listing. [+]
