PRIOR TO SAN FRANCISCO: Played a total of 37 games at Cal Poly....as a freshman started 17 games with a 1.77 goals against average... his sophomore season he recorded a 1.81 goals against average in 18 contests... last season he started two games and allowed five goals... four year letterwinner at Granada High School... earned all-East Bay Athletic League honors and team Most Valuable Player honors his junior and senior seasons... earned the President's Award for Educational Excellence.
PERSONAL: Born June of 1986 in Livermore, Calif... son of former Cal coach, Bill Coupe... favorite book is Cat's Cradle... majoring in Mathematics.
